Schirmer test To detect dry eyes (keratoconjunctivitis sicca). Sterile porous paper strips are hooked over the lower eyelid and tear production can be assessed.

Singling-Larsen-Johanssen syndrome Pain at the insertion of the patellar tendon to the patella. Occurs in adolescence and calcification may be seen here on X-ray.
