Multiple gestation

    The term to used to describe more than one fetus in the womb, as in the case of twins, triplets, or other higher order multiples. With the use of fertility drugs, multiples have become more common.

Multiple sclerosis
An auto-immune disease of the central nervous system, mainly affecting young adults, whose origin is unknown. It is characterized clinically by symptoms that typically abate spontaneously in the early years of the disease but often get gradually worse in later years.
