Handicap
Handicap The social consequences of disability and/or impairment (eg. inability to find employment).

Disability A defect in performing a normal activity or action (eg. inability to dress or walk).
Impairment A defect in organ function or whole body system, which may be temporary or permanent (eg. hemiplegia).

Homocysteine A product which is found naturally when a particular amino acid is broken down. It is associated with ageing, folate levels, vitamin B deficiencies and possibly renal dysfunction. Higher concentration of homocysteine in plasma is regarded as a risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
Human subject An individual who is or becomes a participant in research, either as a recipient of the test drug therapy or as a control. A subject may be either a healthy human or a patient. Synonym: subject/trial subject.
Histology The study of the structure and behavior of cells and body tissues, usually involving microscopic examination of tissue slices.
Hair analysis (hair element analysis, hair mineral analysis, hair-shaft analysis) An ostensibly diagnostic technique that involves laboratory analysis of a sample of hair. It allegedly can be a "useful guide" to bodily well-being.
