Dyssomnia

    Primary disorders of sleep or wakefulness characterized by insomnia or hypersomnia as the major presenting symptom. Dyssomnias are disorders of the amount, quality, or timing of sleep.

Insomnia
Disorders characterized by impairment of the ability to initiate or maintain sleep. This may occur as a primary disorder or in association with another medical or psychiatric condition.

Hypersomnia
Excessive difficulty maintaining an alert awake state during the day, or undesired daytime sleep episodes. sleepiness, as evidenced by prolonged nocturnal sleep, ideas of reference The feeling that casual incidents and external events have a particular and unusual meaning that is specific to the person.
